Roofing projects vary a lot, in this case a tear off and replace required precautions not unlike mountain climbing. Work was done in segments with two teams, one for tear off and clean up, the other for installation. This is because the project was done during a potential rainy season and the building itself is used for dry salt storage-thus requiring attention to preventing water breaches during the life of the job.
The end result is an improved shingle type installed, better waterproofing with special attention to vent flashings, dormers and other features that make this unique building both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
