This project involved the installation of a large post, reinforced gate, cattle fence in Kane County, Illinois that would be used to hold large animals, namely buffalo. The fence was designed to protect against breaches from inside and out, ensuring both functionality and durability. It looks good.
As with most game fencing, this one also included a hot wire that acts as a deterrent-typical for cattle fencing. The cattle wire is an insulated, grounded system separate and set above the rest of the fencing. The electrification is powered by a standard self-contained solar collector and power storage unit that generates 2,000+ volts. The gates can withstand cattle/buffalo impact as will the deep set fence posts.
